libsetup-ruby1.8 software package provides the setup.rb install tool for Ruby - transition package, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsetup-ruby1.8
libsetup-ruby1.8 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsetup-ruby1.8 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsetup-ruby1.8 *
You will get with libsetup-ruby1.8 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
